Science
Ms. Sharon teaches a very hands on science including the study of: rocks,
plants, animals, weather and space using a multi-sensory approach to
learning.
Language Arts
Students will work on letter sounds, beginning sight words, and CVC
sounding out of words.
Social Studies
The class will study heroes of North America.
Math
Kindergarten math will include: number recognition, number writing, skip
counting by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s, sequencing and ordering.
The Kindergarten class day will also include play time outside and rest time
each afternoon. Students may want to bring a mat or blanket for rest time
and you may also want a backpack to carry papers home each week.
There is a one-time $15 fee for this class to buy supplies.
